Delivery day can be exciting; the new fixture you’ve been waiting to see in person is finally arriving. We know you’re anxious to rip open the box and see your new faucet or bathtub. Despite our very best efforts to deliver your purchases in perfect condition, sometimes things happen and you may have to return something.

eFaucets does list a comprehensive set of instructions online, but here are a few tips to take note of before you sign for your package, and the driver pulls away:

DO – thoroughly inspect your item(s) at the time of delivery
DON’T – assume your purchase(s) will arrive unscathed

DO – ask the driver to wait while you open the package to inspect your item(s)
DON’T – let the driver leave no matter how busy he/she says they are

DO – note on the bill of lading any items being refused and the reason; damage, including scratches, dents, or breakage
DON’T – forget to call eFaucets for a Return Goods Authorization even after you’ve refused delivery

DO – call customer service as soon as possible to alert efaucets about your return to obtain a Return Goods Authorization number
DON’T – just put your item back in the box and hand it to the delivery person

DO – arrange delivery to a place at a time when someone over the age of 18 can sign for the items and inspect them
DON’T – just leave a note on your door granting permission for delivery drop-off because doing so is the equivalent of signing for your purchase(s)
