eFaucets is proud to announce that it is the first e-commerce site to feature the Matt Muenster Exclusive Collection at Decolav. Muenster is the popular television host and star of a hit bathroom renovation series, and his first collection of bathroom vanities, lavatories and mirrors with Decolav is now available on efaucets.com.
Muenster worked for 10 years as a residential designer before landing his first show. An episode a few years ago actually led to Muenster’s collaboration with Decolav.
“We used a couple of their vessel sinks in an episode, and one of our producers called to ask some questions, and Rob Mayer, the president of Decolav, answered the phone,” Muenster said. “We got together for dinner, and he asked me to draw something so I started sketching out what I thought the market was missing.”
His sketches led to a series of suites that include a vanity cabinet; lavatories with integrated sinks made of quartz, glass and solid surface material; and mirrors with built-in lighting components. Muenster chose real, unique, high-quality materials to achieve the looks he envisioned.
“I love the look of concrete, but you can’t mass produce concrete countertops with integrated sinks so we found quartz instead,” he explained. “I wanted dark wood for some of the pieces so I chose these naturally dark woods because I hate stain; I don’t want to force something to be something it’s not.”
eFaucets CEO and President Mike Fox is thrilled to feature the Matt Muenster Exclusive Collection at Decolav on efaucets.com.
“Matt has designed some truly unique pieces that our customers will love to add to their bathroom designs,” he said. “We’re proud to have such strong relationships with companies like Decolav so when something special comes along, like Matt’s collection, we can make sure shoppers are aware of it and can find it easily.”
As a Wisconsin native who now calls Minnesota home, Muenster said it means a lot to him to have eFaucets – which is based in Wind Point, WI, near Racine – as the first e-commerce company to feature his collection.
“It’s exciting that eFaucets is the first e-commerce to have my collection,” he added. “And I love that eFaucets is a Wisconsin company. That really means a lot.”
