Video: Delta 2.0 Touch Technology

When eFaucets visited the national kitchen and bath show in January 2016, we spent some time in the Delta Faucets display learning more about their trailblazing touch technology and how it’s applied in both the kitchen and the bathroom.

Caitlin Smarrelli, senior brand merchandising manager at Delta, led us through the display. She let us play with the faucets while she explained in layman’s terms the very high-tech way the faucets use your body’s capacitance – naturally occurring electrical charges – to activate the water stream.

Not only can you control operation of the bathroom or kitchen faucet with just a touch of your wrist, there’s also an LED indicator on the base to let you know how hot your water is getting. Delta’s Touch 2.0 faucets include an automatic shut-off as well so you don’t have to worry about little ones turning the water on and a subsequent flood when when they forget to turn the water off.
